VIDEO: Detroit Symphony Orchestra performs at Ford Plant, assembly line dances to classical music

WAYNE., Mich., (WXYZ) - Five members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra recently visited the Ford Assembly Plant to put on a private concert for the workers.

The impromptu performance of Johann Sebastian Bach's Contrapunctus IX by a small group of the DSO's brass section, delighted the employees of the Wayne, Mich. plant and narrated the dance of the Ford C-MAX on the assembly line.

The concert was part of a free 10 performance series called "DSO on the Go with Ford," which will are building on their long history together by launching a new performance series that brings live orchestral music into the neighborhoods of Detroit.
