Vigil held for the Heidelberg Project at arson site

DETROIT (WXYZ) - A vigil was held at the site of latest arson at the Heidelberg Project on Thursday evening.

People gathered at the site of the old "Doll House" --lighting candles and singing songs in support of the project.

The house was destroyed by fire in the early morning of March 7th.

It was one of several houses near Heidelberg St. which were turned into works of art in response to urban decay.

The artist, Tyree Guyton was at the vigil. He told the crowd he was not going to give up.

The ATF is investigating the crimes.  A $5000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in these cases.
