A 20-year-old female student at Wayne State University reported that she was a victim of sexual assault on Thursday while walking on Cass Avenue near West Palmer.
She said she was walking westbound on Antoinette St. from Woodward Ave. at 9:55 a.m. when she noticed a man following her from a short distance behind her.
As the student continued westbound on Antoinette and turned on Cass Avenue, the man continued to follow her.
When she neared southbound Cass Avenue and W. Palmer, the man approached her from behind, ran his hand down her back and squeezed her buttocks.
He said nothing as he touched her and continued southbound on Cass Avenue.
The suspect is described as a man about 25 years old with a stocky build and dark complexion. He was clean shaven, had dark curly hair and wore a dark hoodie with unknown initials on the front in large print, dark jeans and white tennis shoes.
