IOSCO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - The mystery surrounding who killed a Canton business owner in his quiet country home in Iosco Township may soon be solved.
On Wednesday, the Livingston County Sheriff announced charges against 25-year-old Anthony Sean Duke.
The Livingston County Sheriff says in December, 2011 Duke went to Ronald Hauser’s home on Roberts Road. Hauser was in his basement when Duke allegedly shot him from outside the home.
Investigators say Duke then went into the house and stole cash.
Duke has a long criminal history. His past convictions include felonious assault, receiving stolen property, and gun charges.
The 10 counts against him for Hauser’s death include murder, larceny, and gun charges. He faces life in prison if convicted.
