Girlfriend charged for allegedly biting off portion of boyfriend's ear in Macomb Township

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - A 31-year-old woman who is accused of biting off part of her boyfriend's ear during an argument has been charged with Aggravated Assault.

Macomb County Sheriff's deputies responded to a domestic violence report over the weekend, where it is a alleged that Danielle Nebelung bit off part of her boyfriend's ear.

It happened at a home on Marseilles Street in Macomb Township on March 8.

The 36-year-old man told authorities that his live-in girlfriend bit part of his ear off during an altercation.

The man said Nebelung arrived home and they argued. He reportedly tried to walk away into the bedroom, she allegedly followed and began punching him in the face and head.

Deputies report that when he tried to turn away, she jumped on his back and bit off a portion of his left ear.

The man was treated by medical personnel and the missing part of his ear was located. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Nebelung is being held in the Macomb County Jail. Her next court date is scheduled for March 17.
