CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich., (WXYZ) - An infant is safe thanks to the heroics of an 18-year-old babysitter and her boyfriend.
On March 14 a suspect, who the sitter knew, entered her Clinton Township home and quickly left. Noticing the child was missing, the sitter and her 26-year-old boyfriend went to the suspect's home nearby.
The pair forced their way in after hearing the baby crying uncontrollably. They found the suspect, Parisienne Clark, holding the child out a second floor window.
The sitter's boyfriend pulled the baby away from the suspect. Parisienne then dove out the second floor window.
Parisienne was arraigned on attempted murder, child abuse and kidnapping. Her bond has been set at $750,000.
Parisienne's daughter says her mother suffers from mental illness and that she would not knowingly hurt anyone. Her daughter indicated that her mother may have been off of her medication.
