Macomb County promotes healthier lifestyles during National Public Health Week

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (WXYZ) - It's National Public Health Week and this year Macomb County is offering events to promote a healthy lifestyle.

The schedule of events was announced by Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel and the county's health director.

To kick off the week, a household hazardous waste collection was held earlier today.

On Friday from noon to 5:00 pm there will be a hike to see owls at Lake Saint Clair Metropark.
