CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Chesterfield Township Police say they have arrested a man for drunk driving for a 12th time.
Bohdan Andriaschko is also charged with allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
Police say they received a 911 call at around 10:00 pm on March 12 from a woman saying she had just been assaulted and the man who attacked her was leaving the scene in her vehicle. She also said the man was drunk.
An officer was able to locate the suspect driving on Scholar at Gratiot and stopped him. During the stop, officers say, it was determined that Andriaschko was driving on a suspended license and smelled heavily of intoxicants.

While the traffic stop was going on additional officers were at the victim's home. Police say they questioned the victim and confirmed her allegations.
Police were later able to determine that Andriaschko has 11 prior drunk driving conditions, dating back to 1982.
He has been charged with Operating While Intoxicated/3rd Offense, Domestic Violence/3rd Offense, Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and Operate with Suspended License/2nd Offense.
