MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (WXYZ) - A man who was involved in a barricaded situation with the Macomb County Sheriff's Department on Tuesday has been charged with three counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
Danny Harless was arrested around 11:00 am Tuesday when the SWAT team entered his home.
Police say they were called to the scene after the 63-year-old Harless got into a verbal altercation with his neighbors. Officers say he then went into his apartment and grabbed a rifle.
After emerging from the building, police say, Harless pointed the rifle at his neighbors before walking back inside.
Following his arrest Harless was taken to the hospital for evaluation. He was then taken to the Macomb County Jail, where he remains locked up on a $300,000 cash or surety bond.
