Man faces charges in connection with deaths of mother-daughter
(WXYZ) - Looking puzzled and confused, 29-year-old Jay Thomas Miller was arraigned by video, this afternoon.
He is charged with lying to a police officer and resisting and obstructing police officers – in connection to the investigation related to the deaths of a mother and daughter in Clinton Township.
47-year-old Tina Geiger and her 11-year-old daughter Christina were found dead inside their apartment Tuesday.
The two had been missing for days before that.
Tina's former caregiver told 7 Action News Geiger suffered from some mental illness but would never hurt anyone. We're told her daughter was mentally disabled.
Family members have been gathering to make arrangements – but they don't have the money to bury the mother and daughter.
You can make donations to any Comerica Bank and Charter One Bank under the Tina and Krissy Geiger Memorial Fund.
A memorial for Tina and Krissy Geiger will be held next Friday at the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home in Mt. Clemens. It will be open to the public from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that night.
