CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich., (WXYZ) - Multiple suspects have been arrested in the murder of a Clinton Township party store owner.
The Macomb County Prosecutor charged Clinton Rayshawn Grayson, 24, Darius Diaz Gaskin, 24 and Kenneth Hill, 26, with identical counts of Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and Felony Firearm.
A fourth suspect is in custody and will be charged with the same crimes.
The charges are punishable up to life imprisonment.
On March 28, Basil Sulaka was murdered at his Moonlite Party Store on Harper in Clinton Township. According to a witness and security footage, three entered the store, emptied the cash registers and shot Sulaka in the back.
"Basil Sulaka was a good, gentle person and a beloved neighborhood merchant in Clinton Township," Prosecutor Eric Smith said. "These men took his life for the change in a cash drawer. They must answer for this crime."
The defendants will be arraigned in 41B District Court in Clinton Township.
