Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a $2,500 reward for information relating to the hit-and-run that killed a man in Armada last weekend.

Jacob Brand, 21, was found dead in a ditch around 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning off of Boardman Rd. between North and Miller in Armada.

According to Crime Stoppers, Brand left the Allenton Tavern with friends on Friday night and for some reason decided to get out and walk. He was dropped off on Boardman Rd. and found bloody and in the ditch the next morning.

Right now, Michigan State Police don't have a lot to go on, and they're hopeful someone will come forward with information.

There is a GoFundMe set up to help with funeral expenses for the family.

Anyone with information about his death can call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) SPEAK-UP or the Michigan State Police at 855-642-4847.
