STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Frantic moments for a Sterling Heights mother who was the victim of a home invasion.
It happened Sunday afternoon when the woman's daughter stopped by.
When she walked into the home, she found her mother tied up, and the house robbed.
Right now, police are searching for the suspect.
Detectives were still in the house investigating Monday to look for clues.
Family members have declined to speak to 7 Action News about the incident.
Police say they received a 911 phone call from the daughter, saying the mom was tied up and burglars had stolen miscellaneous items.
Within two minutes, police arrived, but the thieves were already gone.
Police say they don't have the actual suspect information, but are working on leads as to who was in the house and how many.
The 61-year-old mom is back home, after a short trip to the hospital Sunday for a minor injury to her head.
