(WXYZ) - Six suspects were arrested after police say the men ripped an ATM out of a CVS in Warren and led cops on a chase.
It happened around 4:40 Thursday morning at the CVS at 9 Mile and Schoenherr.
Surveillance video shows the driver of a pick-up truck crash right through the front door of the CVS. After he pulls out, police say his six accomplices, all dressed in black, enter the store and steal the ATM.
A man across the street called 911 after witnessing the break-in.
Warren police say officers arrived on the scene in less than two minutes. By then, the driver of the pick-up truck had taken off. The six thieves jumped into a van that police say had been stolen just hours before the break-in. The suspects left the ATM in the parking lot.
Investigators say the six men led them on a chase through neighborhoods and I-94. It lasted for 25 minutes and ended after the driver of the van rammed a Michigan State Police cruiser.
"It's good for the community to get them off the street because they would keep doing it until they got caught," says Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green.
He says the suspects are between the ages of 21 and 34. Five of them are from Detroit and one is from Hamtramck.
They're expected to face several felony charges including breaking and entering and fleeing and eluding.
