ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Roseville police have identified the teenage girl who was hit by a car last night.
Police say she is a 15-year-old from St. Clair Shores.
She was apparently on her way to a babysitting job when she was hit by a vehicle making a left turn from eastbound 12 Mile to northbound Congress.
Officers say the girl was not expected home until late in the evening and her mother left for her job on the midnight shift before learning that her daughter had been hurt.
She was only made aware of the accident after the girl's grandmother saw her picture on the morning news.
Both of the women are now with the girl at the hospital.
