LONDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - One person is dead and two others were injured after a triple shooting in Monroe County early Saturday morning.
Sheriff's say a 32-year-old man from Romulus was killed, and a 38-year-old woman from Brownstown Township and 35-year-old Taylor man were injured in the shooting.
According to Sheriff's, the Romulus man was in a fight with the Taylor man, when a homeowner fired three shots into the ground, briefly breaking up the fight.
Then, the fight resumed until the Romulus man went and got a gun from his car, and shot the Taylor man in the chest. The homeowner then shot the Romulus man killing him.
During the shootings, the female from Brownstown Township was shot in the hand.
Both the female and the Taylor man were treated at hospitals.
