TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) - Troy Police say they have arrested a 20-year-old Detroit man who fired a shot after being kicked out of tobacco shop.
The incident happened shortly before 1:00 am on February 16. Police say Juawan Tims was one of four men who were kicked out of Mist Hookah & Cigar for causing problems.
Officers say that once they were in the parking lot, Tims pulled out a gun and pointed it at two employees. Police say the men then got into a vehicle and Tims fired a shot into the air before the vehicle drove off.
Police say an investigation eventually led them to Tims, and the 20-year-old from Detroit was taken into custody. He was arraigned on March 16.
Tims has been charged with four counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
Bond has been set at $250,000.
Tims is currently locked up at the Oakland County Jail. He is due back in court on March 25.
