AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Over 2,000 people were at the Palace of Auburn Hills today for the 8th Annual Down Syndrome Guild Walk.
On Saturday, over 300 volunteers were also on hand helping out with the celebration and benefit which raises much needed money for families and for research to find a cure.
7 Action News Anchor Vic Faust was the emcee for today's event.
The Down Syndrome Guild of Southeast Michigan (DSGSEMI) serves southeast Michigan, including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, St. Clair, Livingston, Lapeer and Genesee counties.
The Guild constituency is composed of over 250 individuals with Down Syndrome of all ages, 900 family members and over 200 local professionals.
