Police say they have made an arrest in the murder of a Farmington Hills Party Store owner.
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Farmington Hills Police say they have arrested a 43-year-old Detroit man in connection with Saturday's murder of a popular party store owner.
No other information about the suspect has been released. He was taken into custody Monday.
Police say physical evidence collected from the scene and surrounding areas has linked the suspect to the murder of Duraid Lossia.
Lossia was shot and killed during the apparent robbery of Tom's Party Store Saturday afternoon.
Police say the investigation remains active.
The information the investigation has developed so far will be presented to the Oakland County Prosecutor's office for review and possible charges.
