Michigan State Police say dozens of cars involved in accident that closed part of I-75 in Holly

Northbound I-75 has reopened after a large crash in northern Oakland County.

The northbound lanes were shut down at Dixie Highway for several hours after the crash. The southbound lanes of the freeway are also back open after being shutdown for a short period of time..

Viewer video from 7 Action News viewer Joseph Horton shows the large number of cars are involved.

Michigan State Police say approximately 33 cars and three semis were involved.

There are no reports of fatalities, but police say 12 people suffered non life threatening injuries.

Police are reminding drivers to slow down and increase the distance between cars, because of snowy conditions.
