FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - A man who lives in an apartment on Leland Street in Ferndale woke up to find an unexpected guest sleeping on his couch.
The resident first noticed strange clothes on his bathroom floor around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday and then found an alleged drunk man sleeping in his living room.
The resident woke a friend who was staying with him to see if he knew the intruder. The friend did not know the stranger.
When they were unable to wake the man, they called police.
Officers arrived on scene, woke 34-year-old Anthony Jagger and determined he was drunk.
Jagger's boyfriend tells Action News he was out with friends Monday night for a late holiday party and drank too much. "He is a good guy, a hard worker and goes to school pathology," said Rick Grice. "He went out to have a good time and thought he was coming home to the right place and made a mistake."
Jagger was arraigned on trespassing charges and has been released on a $1500.00 dollar bond.
