They say a 68-year-old woman had her bag stolen by a man who stopped to ask her directions in the parking lot of the Meijer store located at 800 Brown Road, near I-75 and Joslyn Road.

Police tell 7 Action News that the woman was riding on a motorized shopping cart when the suspect approached her and her husband and explained that we was from out of town.

The suspect then grabbed the woman's purse from a basket on the motorized cart and he fled.
