A home invasion in Pontiac turned violent Sunday night.
Right now, a father is recovering in the hospital after being shot.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says three armed robbers, wearing masks, targeted a house on Bellmore Lane In Pontiac late Sunday night.
A 50-year-old father was shot in the stomach.
Investigators say the victim's son was trying to get inside his house, when the suspects attacked him and forced him inside.
Three others were already inside the home, all ranging from 31 to 51-years-old.
The suspects told everyone to get on the ground, and for some reason the father was shot while on the floor.
Deputies say the suspects took whatever they could and then left in a black Chevy Suburban.
The father remains in the hospital in stable condition.
A neighbor, who didn't want to be identified, claims the family was also robbed just about a month ago.
