PHOTO: Ferndale Police release image of man wanted in armed robbery of doctor's office

FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Ferndale Police released an image of the man they believe robbed a doctor's office on March 24.

Police believe Ray Slayton, pictured above, is the man who walked into a Ferndale doctor's office, and pointed a gun in the face of the secretary . According to police, there wasn't any cash stolen, but there was a prescription pad that was taken.

Slayton is considered armed and dangerous, and citizens should not approach him.

He is believed to be in the area of Hazel Park, Warren, and Detroit, in the area near Dequindre Road.

Slayton is 47-years-old, 5'11" tall, and has brown hair, hazel eyes and a medium build.
