Police investigating armed robberies at metro Detroit Holiday Inn locations

The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating reports of armed robberies at two Holiday Inn Express locations in Farmington Hills.

On Oct. 17, a man entered the location at 32769 Northwestern Highway and was approximately 6 feet tall wearing a red zippered hoodie, black pants and armed with a semi-automatic pistol. 

He demanded money and then fled after it was given to him.

On Oct. 19, a man approximately six feet tall wearing a black ski mask, Ray Ban glasses, black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and dark brown shoes reached into his waistband as he entered the Holiday Inn Express at 21100 Haggerty Rd. and demanded money.

He was handed the money and fled. 

Farmington Hills Police is investigating both robberies. A 2008-2012 white Chevrolet Malibu that was missing hub caps was seen in the area during the robbery on Oct. 17.
