WXYZ - Shield's Restaurant and Pizzerias in Troy and Southfield are bringing back their popular "Food For Thought" program! Any student in the Metro Detroit Area that has a 3.0 or better GPA for the first semester will receive a free small pizza with one topping throughout February.
This offer is valid for dine-in customers only and can only be received at the one of the two locations. Additional toppings are available for an additional cost. Students must bring in their report card to receive their free pizza.
"The first couple times we ran this reward special we limited the amount of schools and it went over very well," says Paul Andoni of Shield's. "This time we talked it over between the two stores and decided to let any one from any school in Metro Detroit come in and be rewarded for a job well done. We need to encourage kids to study hard and get as good of an education as possible. We're all too happy to help!"
Shield's is a strong community supporter that continues to contribute to charitable organizations like Gilda's Club of Metro Detroit, JDRF, and Motor City Blight Busters, Lighthouse of Oakland County, other community charities, as well as schools and churches throughout Metro Detroit.
Shield's Troy location is at 1476 W. Maple and the Southfield location is at 25101 Telegraph. For more information visit their Facebook page or visit www.shieldspizza.com .
