Southfield Police search for suspects who robbed man in parking lot at Northland Mall

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Southfield Police Department is asking for the public's help to find two men who are considered suspects in an armed robbery in the parking lot of the Target Store at Northland Mall.

The victim told police he met up with a man inside the store after being contacted about a laptop computer he put up for sale on Craigslist. However, the men could not come to terms.

Once the victim reached the parking lot, he was approached by the same man. According to police the suspect implied he had a weapon and took the victim's laptop. He then left the scene in a Green Chevrolet Impala that was driven by the second suspect.

The theft happened at around 5:20 p.m. on Monday.

The first suspect is described as a 18-year-old African-American man with a light goatee. He was wearing a blue Nike baseball hat, white Detroit Lions t-shirt and light blue jeans.

The second suspect is also described as being about 18-years-old and African-American. He was wearing a neck brace.
