Waterford Township Police investigate armed robberies

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Waterford Township Police are looking for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a Mobile Gas Station.

The suspect reportedly robbed the clerk on July 17 around 11:36 p.m. at the location on Dixie Highway.

According to police, the suspect walked up to the counter and had a semi-automatic handgun.

He reportedly told the clerk to "Give me all your money."

The suspect took all of the money from the cash register and left the scene.

He is described as a black man in his 20s with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with the Nike symbol, blue jeans, white gym shoes and a baseball hat.

The suspect then got in a 2011 or 2012 silver or gray Chevrolet Cruze. It is believed the suspect is responsible for another robbery that took place 20 minutes before the incident.

On July 19, police believe the suspect reportedly targeted a 7-11 on Cass Lake Road and demanded money. the clerk gave him $80.00.
