PORT HURON, Mich. (WXYZ) - A 46-year-old Port Huron man is facing charges, accused of attacking another man with a wrench.
Police say the incident happened Friday, February 10 at around 2:15 a.m.
Investigators say Patrick Chambers was arguing with another man at a home on Lapeer. It was during that argument that, police say, Chambers grabbed a wrench and hit the other man in the head.
Police were called to the scene and the 51-year-old victim was taken to Port Huron Hospital. He was eventually transferred to McLaren Medical Center in Mount Clemens and has since been released.
Chambers has been arraigned on a single charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. His bond was set at $10,000. He is due back in court on February 21.
