University of Michigan police search for sexual assault suspect

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) - University of Michigan police are asking for your help to find a sexual assault suspect.
Police say the incident happened around 3:00 a.m. Sunday near the Southeast corner of the Diag at West Hall Arch (South U and East U Avenues).
The female victim reported to police that an unknown male pushed her as she was walking from South University though the Arch. The suspect told the victim to be quiet and attempted to remove her pants.
Police say the suspect ran away when other pedestrians approached.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 35-years-old, 6' tall, with a thin build and dark complexion. He was wearing a black baseball cap, blue sweatshirt, jeans and carrying a backpack.
