University of Michigan issues crime alert after reported sex assault along the Diag

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) - The University of Michigan has issued a crime alert after a reported sex assault on campus.

According to U of M Police, a student was walking along the Diag - between Kraus Natural Science and Mason Hall - when she was approached by an unknown man. The man forcibly put his face in her chest.

She pushed him and continued walking.

Police have released the following description of the man; He is a black man between 50 and 60-years-old, approximately 5'4" with a medium complexion. He is hunched over and has short, black hair with a straggly beard.

The suspect was wearing a dark green, long-sleeve shirt and dark pants. He was carrying a red sling-type bag.
