GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Family and friends of a murdered Grosse Pointe Park woman are holding a fundraiser to help pay for funeral and burial costs.
The body of Sabrina Gianino was found inside her home last week. Police say she had been strangled. The investigation into her death is still ongoing.
In order to help pay the cost of her funeral and burial, a fundraiser has been scheduled on Tuesday at Marge's Bar on Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Park. Guests will be provided with hot dogs, pop and beer for a $25 donation.
Donations are also being accepted at Platz Animal Hospital at 15310 Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Park. They should be marked "Attention Kelsey." All checks should be made out to Ronnie Gianino.
