Grosse Pointe South High School student in custody over Santorum tweet that mentions a bomb

GROSSE POINTE FARMS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police are reportedly holding a Grosse Pointe South High School student over a tweet about former Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum.

The tweet said "Hey Mr. Santorum, can you sign this bomb for me?".

According to the Grosse Pointe Patch , the student was not in attendance at Santorum's speech to the school . The paper says he was taken into custody and escorted from campus.

The Patch says because the student is under age police are waiting for his parents to arrive before questioning him.
