Halloween decorations gone too far? In one Plymouth neighborhood some people say their neighbor crossed a line with a disturbing display of naked dolls, duck taped, disfigured and hanging from a tree. t’s clear from the gravestones in the front yard, and the skulls along their sidewalk, this is a family that love's Halloween.  The dolls were taken down once the family learned of the controversy, but some say they should have left them up because it's Halloween and creepy decorations make the holiday fun.

On Pacific near Blanche in Plymouth, you'll find many homes adorned with pumpkins, Jack o’ Lanterns, shrubbery draped in spider webs, witches and ghosts dangling above the lawn and even life sized zombies looking for their next meal, this Plymouth neighborhood is filled with Halloween spirit.

“I like ‘em, I like ‘em, I think they’re cute when they’re spooky, but I don’t like hers,” says Marilyn Yoe and she isn’t the only one.

The display at the corner of Pacific and Blanche featuring dolls duct taped, disfigured and hanging from trees without any clothes is getting a lot of attention from those who pass by.

7 Action News and Plymouth police received calls from multiple people complaining about the display but it isn’t breaking any laws so there’s nothing police can do.

Yoe says she supports her neighbors right to freedom of expression.

“She can put anything up in her yard she wants to, it is her house. If I don’t like it I don’t have to look at it,” she says. “I think she’s a nice neighbor I just don’t choose to like her decoration.”

The dolls were taken down by a relative just before our report aired. They didn’t want to be on camera.
