LIVONIA, Mich. (WXYZ) - The woman shot outside a Livonia office building has died.
Amy Chesbro was shot several times by a 56-year-old woman around 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Police have not released that woman's name. She could be arraigned as early as Sunday.
Police say the two women knew each other, but they are still investigating the motive.
The shooting happened in the 20000 block of Victor Parkway in Livonia, in the parking lot of an office building. Chesbro worked for Attendance On Demand, a payroll company located in the building.
The suspect, who lives in North Carolina, but has ties to Michigan, was caught by a Livonia police officer shortly after the crime. Police say she was trying to get away. Police found two handguns inside her car.
