If you owe money for a ticket in Redford, the court may be giving you a chance to save money.
Redford's Seventeenth District Court today kicked off an amnesty program.
People who didn't pay money owed for traffic, parking, and misdemeanor violations by the due date are being offered the chance to pay the ticket.
If they do so the court is offering to waive late fees and some other court costs.
In addition, the 17 th District Court will continue to accept payments on outstanding Detroit tickets under the Out County Collection Program which began in July, 2013.
All payments must be made in cash, certified check, credit or debit card. Individuals seeking additional information can contact the court at (313)387-2790.
