"The whole time I was thinking about what it was going to feel like to be shot," said the Circle K clerk who faced an armed robber around 3:10 a.m. Monday.

The store is located on the 12700 block of Pennsylvania Road in Riverview.

"My heart was beating really fast, but I didn't panic or anything," said the clerk who wants to remain anonymous.

Riverview Police recovered a candy bar the armed robber grabbed in hopes that they may be able to lift fingerprints off of the item.

Investigators also recovered the suspect's ball cap that was located by a police tracking dog.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late twenties to early thirties with a beard. He stands approximately 5' 10" tall and weighs about 175 pounds.
