The family of Joann Matouk Romain is hoping two sketches help answer questions about Joann's death

GROSSE POINTE FARMS, Mich (wxyz) - The family of Joann Matouk Romain is hoping two sketches help answer questions about Joann's death. Her daughter Michelle says she knows her mom was murdered and did not take her life and she believes the men in the sketches had something to do with it.

The pictures were drawn by a witness and finished by an artist.

The witness says he was driving by the church on the night Joann disappeared in January of 2010, but saw two men, saw Joann's car and saw Joann sitting on the break wall at the water's edge.

He says he felt like something was terribly wrong and he wanted to stop but one of the men stared at him and waved him on.

He says he called police two days later and drew a diagram for police and told them what he saw, but nothing further ever came of it.

Michelle Romain says there have been other witnesses who say they saw two men near her mom but none were close enough to come up with a composite.

She says the past two years have been so hard but she is hoping in the end she will find out what really happened to her mom and justice will be served.
