(WXYZ) - Michigan State Police say an additional suspect has been arrested in the homicide investigation of a 2-year-old in Inkster.
Kamiya LaShawn Gross was shot and killed on July 1 on the 30000 block of Carlyle Street. A 12-year-old was also critically injured in the shooting.
In total, three suspects have been arrested in the triple shooting revenge plot.
Thursday, 24-year-old Raymone Jackson was charged with First Degree Premeditated Murder, Assault with Intent to Murder, Felony Assault, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Torture.
He's accused of deliberately killing little Kamiya to send a message to her dad, 34-year-old Kenny French. Kamiya was shot in the head at point blank range.
Jackson also shot 12-year-old Chelsea Lancaster, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She has since recovered to stable condition.
There has been a history of bad blood between Jackson and French. In April, Jackson was shot at an after hours club.
We're told Jackson is not cooperating with police.
As of Friday, MSP have executed 10 search warrants and seized three handguns.
MSP is still asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or the MSUP Tip Line at (877) 616-4677.
