Three people injured in shooting at Hamtramck bar last night

HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Police are investigating an overnight shooting at a Hamtramck bar that left three people injured.

It happened at Club Aces on Joseph Campau, just north of Caniff at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday.

Officers say that, when an unruly group was ejected from the bar, one man pulled out a gun and opened fire in the crowd.

It is believed that some other members of the crowd may have returned fire. However, the investigation is ongoing and that has not yet been confirmed.

Police say the bouncer and two customers were shot. Their injuries are not life threatening. Several people have been arrested. They are being called "persons of interest" while the situation is being sorted out.

Officials say police officers have been assigned to the bar to keep the peace in the past. However, they were not at the bar last night.
