Westbound M-14 closed for hours after road worker hit in accident

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Westbound M-14 is back open at Beck Road after being closed for hours because of an accident involving a road worker.

Michigan State Police say the worker was hit by a car while working to lay cable for MDOT's traffic cameras.

Video from Chopper 7 shows at least one vehicles overturned at the scene. 

Police say the worker was taken to the hospital in critical condition. No information has been released on the driver.
