The state's annual road report was released today, showing Michigan's highways, freeways, and roads were considered slightly worse in 2015.

It's no secret, many would say the roads in Michigan need a little work - some would say a lot of work.

On 10 Mile in Southfield they tried to patch it for now, but it's a bumpy ride along the road.

The annual road and bridges report takes a look at more than 52,000 miles of roads, including highways and major streets in cities and counties.

It shows roads are considered slightly worse in 2015 than in 2014. In 2015, 84% of roads were thought to be in fair or poor condition, compared to 83% in 2014.

As for bridges, nearly 12% are considered structurally deficient. That's the worst of all the Great Lakes' states.
