(WXYZ) - In honor of National Mobility Awareness Month, a local family has the chance to win a wheelchair accessible vehicle for their daughter - but they need your help.
Breanna Strange of South Lyon, Michigan is an 11-year-old who suffers from Dystonia; a neurological movement disorder. Breanna endures painful muscle contractions causing twisting and repetitive movements or abnormal postures.
There is no cure for Breanna's disease.
"We truly think Breanna is a gift from God. Her heart is overflowing with love and kindness and even on her worst days, all she wants to do is give you a hug," says parents Kim and Dave.
Her parents say a new handicapped accessible vehicle would greatly reduce the family's physical and monetary stress.
