St. Vincent de Paul kicks off month long coat drive

The annual St. Vincent de Paul Coat Drive is under way. The month-long drive will help keep families warm during the cold months.

The organization is looking for new or gently used coats for those in need this winter.

The donations can be dropped off at any of the 12 SVdP Thrift Store locations in Southeast Michigan.

There was a kick-off at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan Headquarters Thursday morning at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan headquarters. The Society has 2,000 volunteers in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Lapeer, St. Clair and Monroe counties, assisting 30,000 local households annually.
