ORCHARD LAKE, Mich. (AP) - The 42nd Annual St. Mary's Polish Country Fair is being held this weekend on the grounds of a Detroit-area prep school.
Tens of thousands of attendees are expected to make their way to St. Mary's Preparatory in Orchard Lake, where the event is to run from Friday through Monday.
It serves as a fundraiser to support student initiatives and help maintain and improve the 26 historic buildings that span the school's 120-acre campus.
This year's fair features authentic Polish cuisine; carnival rides and games; gambling and bingo tents; shopping and live music, including a performance Saturday by Fifty Amp Fuse.
General admission is free, and parking is $10 on the grounds of St. Mary's Prep.
