Last Update: 7/13/2009 4:08 pm
DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police are searching for a serial rapist who they believe has attacked at least four women on the city's east side.

The known attacks occurred around 4:00 a.m. Monday, 4:00 a.m. Sunday and twice last week. Officers say the suspect grabbed the women off the street, put them in the trunk of his car and took them to a house where he raped them. After the attacks, he dropped the women off in the same area from which they were taken.

So far only a vague description of the suspect has been released. He is described as a bald man in a dark car. Investigators are working to produce a composite sketch of the man.

While the known attacks have happened on the city's east side, officers say they believe he may be striking in other parts of the city as well. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Detroit Police at (313) 596-1950.
