ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) - They lined up out the door with a spirit of giving born out of grief. The community is embracing four families, helping them get through the loss of their children.

The parking lot of the Texas Roadhouse on 13 Mile in Roseville was overflowing with cars beginning late Wednesday afternoon -- many spilled over onto nearby side streets and an adjacent parking lot.
Devon Spurlock, Erica Haudek, Stephanie Currie, and Jordan Michalak were killed earlier this week when their car was struck by a van driven by Frances Dingle. Police said Dingle's blood-alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit.
The victims' teachers, friends and classmates turned out for the fundraiser Wednesday night and were joined by Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel and Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith.
The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office will donate money from the fundraiser to the Lake Shore Public Schools Memorial Fund.
Macomb Prosecutor Eric Smith said he will give a $10,000 check from the office's drunken driving forfeiture program to Lake Shore Public Schools Superintendent Christopher Loria. The money, which comes from the sale of vehicles confiscated by offenders, will be earmarked for the funeral costs of the four St. Clair Shores teens.
The restaurant plans to donate 10 percent of its sales Wednesday night -- including carryout orders -- to the families. The servers also donated all of their tips.
