Action News Anchors Gather to Give
(WXYZ) - Hundreds of people waited in line Sunday afternoon to get an early start on a special thanksgiving with a free turkey. 
 
Channel 7 teamed up with "The WORD Network" to hand out free Thanksgiving turkeys to Channel 7 viewers who need a little help this holiday. 

One thousand turkeys were given out to people in need to help ensure they have a wonderful holiday.
