Man Drowns in Lake Erie Near Luna Pier
LUNA PIER, Mich. (WXYZ) - A search for a missing man in Lake Erie ended tragically Tuesday afternoon.

BILL PROCTOR REPORTS IN THE VIDEO PLAYER ON THE RIGHT

The U.S. Coast Guard recovered the body of 30-year-old Robert Coleman. He had been fishing with a friend south of Luna Pier, when his friend fell into the water.

Coleman rescued his friend from the dangerous current, but ended up being swept away himelf.

The Coast Guard and Monroe County Sheriff's deputies aided in the search for Coleman. He was found unresponsive.
