(WXYZ) - A Tea Party protestor who expressed her activism out in the middle of a busy road ended up being arrested.

She had been standing out in the middle of a very busy Haggerty Road carrying a sign that read "We Want Our Country Back."
She was among dozens of people who gathered at the Tax Day Tea Party, but instead of protesting on the sidewalk she took her protest to the street.
On Wednesday, thousands of activists gathered in cities across the nation to protest taxes and government spending in what are traditionally known as Tax Day Tea Parties.
